We Offer a Licensed Multiplication of Our Varieties:
1) Agrostis capillaris (L.) – variety of collonial bentgrass “VENCA”
“VENCA” is a tetraploid lawn variety. “VENCA” can well serve a component in mixtures intended for establishment of tenuous amenity lawns.
2) Festuca pratensis (Huds.) – variety of meadow fescue „PASTORELA”
Pastorela is a diploid variety intended for grazing. Pastorela is intended a valuable fodder species. It can be used for shorter term grass and clover/grass mixtures as well as a compound in permanent pastures.
3) Trifolium medium (L.) x Trifolium pratense (L.) – interspecific clover hybrid variety „PRAMEDI”
Variety Pramedi was bred on the basis of the interspecific crossing between the plants of red clover (Trifolium pratense L.) cv. Tatra (2n = 4x = 28) and zigzag clover (T. medium L.) (2n = 8x = 64).
Pramedi is intended a forage crop or it can be used in mixtures with grasses for direct feeding or for conservation. Another use of such mixtures might be establishment or renewal of permanent pastures.
The intellectual property rights are shared together with the Department of Life Sciences of the Masaryk University in Brno and with the Research Institute for Fodder Crops, Ltd. Troubsko. According to available information there has not been a variety of this type gained either in Europe or in the rest of the World. The variety is an entirely original accomplishment.
4) Trifolium medium (L.) – zigzag clover cv. „RŮŽA“
Zigzag clover variety „RŮŽA“ is very persistent and can be a part of the green for a very long time. It produces long rhizomes and is suitable as a component of meadows and pastures. Thanks to rhizomes the variety can withstand pressing down by cattle. Feeding quality is low but due to high content of isoflavones and namely formononetin and biochanin, the variety can become source for production of these pharmaceutical compounds.
5) Trifolium ambiguum (M.BIEB) – Caucasian clover cv. „KOZÁK“
Persistent variety with unlimited duration in grass. Due to the production of rhizomes the variety is suitable for meadow and grazing mixtures. Thanks to rhizomes the variety can withstand pressing down by cattle. When sowing it is important to apply special Rhizobin. Agrotechnics is similar to red clovers.
6) Trifolium pratense (L.) – tetraploid red clover cv. „PRESTO“
Tetraploid variety was recognized based on resistence to clover mildew and lodging. The variety also has higher resistence to fusariosis.
7) Festulolium Asch. & Graebn. – festulolium of festucoid type cv. “NEREZ”
Variety with best fresh matter and dry matter yield so far; late with enhanced persistency, statistically significant rust resistance, hoof pressure resistance and early spring growth.
